The weekend of 16-18 March was a memorable one for Mississippi fans of a certain Slayer and her Angel as, in the depths of Biloxi, USA, the mississippi Coast Convention Center played hoast to CoastCon XXIV. This year's theme was Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel, with guests including Danny Strong (Jonathon), Larry Bagby III (Larry), Matt Springer (US Buffy magazine), Little Willow (Web designer for Slayground and other related sites), Josepha Sherman (co-author of "Deep Water") and Keith R.A DeCandido (author of "The Xander Years, Volume I").

Throughout the weekend, the guests took part in various panels and special events. Danny participated in a dating game and went to lunch with the lucky winner. Larry, having first delighted fans with a verse of "Blue Suede Shoes", Elvis-style, sang a Beatles song with Matt Springer.

Next year's CoastCon XXV will be held in March.
